About the noise
In environmental noise assessment, when measuring the noise level, instruments with certain characteristics are used. The sound intensity level obtained through curve measurement is recorded in decibels (dB), which is the most commonly used noise level and the basic evaluation quantity of noise.
➞A noise level of 30 to 40 dB is considered a relatively quiet and normal environment.
➞More than 50 dB will affect sleep and rest.
➞A noise level above 70 dBcan interfere with conversations, causing restlessness, lack of concentration, affecting work efficiency, and even leading to accidents.
➞90 dB for a long time can seriously affect hearing and lead to the occurrence of other diseases.
What's Acoustic Glass ?
The thicker or heavier the glass, the greater the noise reduction. Therefore, sound reduction efficiency increases as glass thickness increases.
The use of laminated glass provides further benefits of acoustic insulation. When replacing a single glass pane with a laminated pane, with the same overall thickness, the sound insulation is significantly improved.
Special acoustic PVB film is available for further improving the sound control performance of glass. This film product use in multiple glass combines outstanding sound protectio properties with all the advantanges of a convention.
